A good telescope at a fair price if you get it with this discount.

This is another Celestron telescope from the same “Power Seeker” (60EQ, 80EQ, 114EQ, 127EQ) range. It is slightly less powerful than the Celestron 127EQ Power Seeker.

The 70EQ Power Seeker is a refractor telescope with a 70mm aperture and a focal length of 700mm. It has slow motion controls for smooth tracking, erect images and you get the “The SkyX” software in the box as well.

If you’re thinking of buying this telescope, it’s really a case of buying this model or the Power Seeker 127EQ. It all depends on what you are looking to do with the telescope and how often are you actually going to use it. It’s answering these questions that determines whether or not you should go with the 70EQ model which is slightly cheaper.

Basically if you’re planning on using the telescope just a few times a year with the intention of using it for terrestrial viewing as well than the 70EQ telescope might be the telescope for you.

You get good views of the moon and planets when you use the telescope for star gazing and crystal clear images for terrestrial viewing.
